At Watergardens Aged Care, we offer an engaging lifestyle and consciously nurtured community for residents in aged care. This home has a dedicated Memory Support Unit (sometimes known as a dementia unit), which is a purpose built area with its own gardens and courtyards to provide a safe and secure environment for people living with high dementia care needs.

Conveniently located next to Water Gardens Shopping Centre in Sydenham, residents and families can continue to enjoy quality time together shopping, dining out, going to the movies or simply catching up over coffee and cake. 

With close proximity to Keilor, St Albans, Sunshine, Strathmore and Essendon, our friendly team at Watergardens can help moving into aged care a simple process.

Our professional team at Watergardens take a people centred approach to care, which means our residents benefit from clinical care, participation in stimulating activities and nourished with wholesome and culturally accepted meals that are individualised to their needs and tastes. We also preserve their autonomy by involving them in daily-decision making, and offer complete transparency for families and loved ones.

Combination payment 50% refundable deposit of $225,000 and 50% daily payment of $51.66 per day.

A Basic Daily Care Fee of $61.96 per day, is applicable to all residents entering either permanent care or respite, regardless of which residence you may choose.

  1. RAD (Refundable Accommodation Deposit) is the amount charged for a suite.
  2. DAP (Daily Accommodation Payment) an interest payment payable on an unpaid non-supported accommodation cost.
  3. COMBINATION Payment is when part RAD is paid and the remaining amount outstanding at the current interest rate (MPIR) 8.38% Example: RAD/DAP combination is paid 50% RAD x 8.38% DAP on remainder of RAD at 8.38%
  4. Means Tested Care Fee: This is a fee calculated by Centrelink based on assessment of your income and assets, (this is not applicable to all people).
  5. Fees and charges effective from 20th March 2024.
  6. MPIR (Maximum Permissible Interest Rate) effective from 1 January 2024.

Pricing is dependent on individual means and asset testing.

Payment can be made via a Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD), a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) or a combination of both.
